IBPS Research Associate Exam Pattern & Syllabus Full Selection Criteria

IBPS conducts several exams every year which is meant for several posts and qualifications. IBPS Research Associate exam is being conducted in the month of December, 2016 for which the registrations have been done in the November. The eligible candidates can start applying for the exam and study the start for the exam. The candidates need to have post- graduation degree along with 1 year of experience to take this exam.

The job of Research associate is meant to develop objective type aptitude & achievement tests to assess cognitive ability & research in Education/Psychology/ HR Management. The only basic necessity is to be efficient in computer operating & handling.

IBPS Research Associate Syllabus

Reasoning: The questions will be asked from verbal & non- verbal reasoning- number series, arithmetic series, coding & decoding, analogies, similarities & differences, tables problems, figure matching, pattern matching

Quantitative Aptitude: The questions are asked from number system, LCM & HCF, problems on trains, boats & streams, probability, permutation & combination, binomial theorem, graphs & charts, profit & loss, simple & compound interest, time & speed, time & work, mixtures & alligations etc.

English: The questions are asked from both language and comprehension passages. The grammar section contains the questions from verbs, nouns, adjectives, adverb, pronouns, idioms, proverbs, number, gender, subject predicate etc.

GK: The questions will be asked from current events, important dates & events, history, geography, political science, ongoing events, political system of country, religion, railway, sports, culture etc.
