Application Form Related FAQs
Q1: I have filled some wrong information in my application Form. How can I rectify the same?
Ans: There is no provision of rectifying the same if you have submitted the application form. Once the form is completed, nothing can be changed.
Q2: I want to change my category in application form (OBC, ST, SC, Ex- Servicemen)
Ans: Once you have submitted the application form and it has reached IBPS, no change will be permitted. It is solely your duty to check all the details before clicking final Submit button. Until you submit the form, edit option is available till last point.
Q3: Can I reprint my application form?
Ans: Yes, on the official website you will see the link to reprint your application form till certain point of time.
Q4: I am OBC by state but I don’t find the same in central list. What category should I fill in my application form?
Ans: In case you don’t find it in central list & you belong to creamy layer, you need to fill in GENERAL category.
Q5: I have made the payment but still it shows the payment gateway open. What should I do?
Ans: Due to network connectivity or server rush the payment must have not been processed. IN this case, contact your bank customer care from where you had done the payment. If payment is not done, the refund will be generated.
Q6: While doing the payment I realized it has been done twice. What should I do now?
Ans: Contact your bank customer care and ask for the refund of one time.
Q7: I am unable to upload my photograph and signature for iBPS PO Exam. What should I do?
Ans: You will be allowed to upload the sign and photo only in case where the specifications of both are exactly the same as mentioned in notification 2016.
Admit Card Related FAQs
Q1: When will the admit card be dispatched?
Ans: For Preliminary exam, the admit cards will be available from 1st of October, 2017 till 27th October, 2017 and for Mains exam, they will be available from start of November, 2017.
Q2: Will we have different admit cards for Preliminary & Mains exam?
Ans: Yes, for sure we will have different admit cards for both which will be dispatched a little time before the exam date is announced by IBPS.
Q3: My photograph is not clear on admit card, will there be any problem?
Ans: No, take along the ID proof so that your photo identity is verified for taking the exam.
Q4: What all things have to be carried in the exam?
Ans: The call letter you have downloaded from IBPS website along with one ID Proof that has exact name as written in call letter. Furthermore the signature will be validated on the attendance sheet and the call letter (they both should match)
Q5: How to Download Call Letter of IBPS PO?
Ans: Go to official website of IBPS and then select PO tab; there you will find a link to download Admit card; Enter your registration number and you can download your admit card
Q6: I don’t know my registration number. How can I find it?
Ans: Check your registered email ID and phone number, IBPS officials must have emailed it at the time of registration.
Q7: Portal says date of birth is incorrect. What should I do?
Ans: Please enter the date of birth as you have mentioned while registering, type it in format DD-MM-YY.

Pre Examination Training Related FAQs
Q1: I did not receive the call letter for Pre exam training.
Ans: This must have happen because of incomplete registration or you have forgotten to mark the option for Pre examination training while filling your application form.
Q2: Can I change my centre for the training?
Ans: The centre once allotted for the exam cannot be changed and all the candidates need to adhere to the same.
Important Dates Related FAQs-
Q1: What is the tentative date of IBPS Prelims & Mains Exam?
Ans: The preliminary exam will be conducted on 16th, 22nd & 23rd October, 2017 and mains exam will be conducted on 20th November, 2017 for the candidates who have cleared the Prelims paper.
Q2: How much gap will be there between Preliminary & Mains Paper?
Ans: It will be around 1 month gap between Preliminary & Mains exam.
Q3: When will the result be declared?
Ans: The result of mains exam will be declared in December 2016.
Exam Centre Related FAQs
Q1: I wish to change my exam centre because the one allotted to me is far away from my place. How should I do so?
Ans: Once exam centre is allotted, there is no provision to change or modify the same.
Q2: I cannot locate my exam centre, what should I do?
Ans: You can check the centre online through Google Maps and it is your duty to check the same much prior the exam.
Q3: What are the things to be carried along in exam hall?
Ans: Following documents have to be carried along-
- Call letter for the exam
- Photo identity proof with same name as in application form
- Photocopy of photo identity proof you are carrying
Q4: There is server error during my exam and due to which I am unable to complete my exam. What should I do?
Ans: You can register the complaints on the separate portal cgrs.ibps.in and address all your problems. Based on the merit, the problems are addressed by the officials.
Q5: How much time prior I should reach my exam centre?
Ans: You should reach your exam centre atleast before 20 minutes to the scheduled time of exam.
Result Related FAQs
Q1: My User ID and password are not working and there is no option to reset the credentials. What should I do?
Ans: The User ID and password; all the credentials are sent to registered email ID and phone number. You can verify the same from there.
Q2: What is the cut off for IBPS PO exam?

Q3: I am not satisfied with my scores, I want them to be rechecked. What should I do?
Ans: You can register your complaint on cgrs.ibps.in and all queries related to the scores will be addressed.
Interview Related FAQs-
Q1: Can we check our interview scores?
Ans: No, there is no provision of checking interview scores.
Q2: Can we revert our skills to IBPS in case they are missed during interview?
Ans: Interview once conducted will not be considered again at any cost.
Q3: What all documents have to be carried along in the interview?
Ans: The following documents need to be taken and these are to be self- attested and original both.
- Call letter
- Printout of online application form
- Date of birth ID proof- Birth certificate or 10th class certificate
- Photo identity proof
- Graduation mark sheets
- Caste certificate in case you are applicable for this
- Disability certificate
- Government working people need to bring No Objection Certificate (NOCs)
- The persons who all eligible for age relaxation should bring their documents of proof
- Experience certificate
Q4: I did not receive any kind of notification for my interview, and now the date is gone. Can you reschedule my interview?
Ans: This cannot be done in any worst case possible. The notification must have been sent to registered Email ID & Phone number and in any case you need to visit official website of IBPS from time and time and check the updates.
Provisional Allotment Related FAQs-
Q1: When will the provisional allotment done for the candidates who are selected in interview?
Ans: It will be done in April, 2017 and the candidates selected in it will be in probation period for 2 years.
Q2: Once the provisional allotment is done, I did not receive appointment letter. What should I do?
Ans: You need to contact the bank which has taken you, IBPS has no role after the provisional allotment is being done.
Q3: I want to change my bank preference, what should I do?
Ans: Once you have submitted the bank preference, it is not possible to change it.
