IBPS Clerk 2017 Selection Procedure

Clerical cadre exam is being conducted every year and this time the notification for the same has been released in the month of August, 2017. This time IBPS Clerical Cadre VII has the below method of selection the candidates.
Phase I: Preliminary Exam
This is a 100 marks paper in which the subjects included will be English, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. All the basics will be covered in this phase of selection and you need to be prepared by solving some previous questions based on it.
Phase II: Mains Exam
This is a 200 marks exam in which the questions with different weightage will be asked from the candidates. The subjects from where questions will be asked will be almost same as preliminary exam but the level will be different. So, prepare accordingly from best available books for the exam.
Phase III: Provisional Allotment
Once the result of Mains exam are declared in the month of December, 2017 the conversion of marks will be done. The marks obtained in mains exam will be converted to 100 and then the candidates for provisional allotment will be selected. Based on the city preference you have mentioned you will be placed in the participating banks of IBPS.
This whole process will be completed by January, 2018 and then you will have in hand your job. After the provisional allotment is done, you will be promoted in the job depending upon your work and capabilities.
